Currently, our client is seeking a mid-level Construction Litigation Associate to join their vibrant Construction Law practice group in Calgary. The successful candidate will have experience in construction and general commercial litigation and will have the opportunity to further develop their career within a broad and sophisticated practice group. This role offers access to exceptional training, mentorship, and meaningful client interaction on complex construction matters.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• 3–6 years of post-call experience in construction litigation and arbitration from a reputable Canadian law firm; a combination of construction and commercial litigation experience is ideal
• Thorough understanding of construction documents and the litigation process relating to contract awards, construction liens, and related proceedings
• Experience providing strategic advice to clients throughout the procurement and construction process, including guiding owners, developers, and contractors through construction-related disputes
• Exceptional communication and drafting skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills
• Efficient, organized, and a collaborative team player
• Client-oriented with strong professional judgment
• Strong academic credentials
• Must be qualified to practice law in Canada
