Known for their positive, inclusive, and client-focused environment, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate Real Estate Paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished and professional individual with a strong background in residential real estate law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review legal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and mortgage documentation.
• Manage the entire closing process: liaising with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.
• Draft correspondence and communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, brokers, and financial institutions.
• Maintain and organize client files in accordance with firm procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the supervising lawyer and support the team in all aspects of residential real estate transactions.
• Perform other administrative and legal duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Legal Assistant Diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience handling residential real estate transactions from start to finish.
• Proficiency with Lawyer Done Deal (LDD) or similar real estate software.
• Experience using the SPIN system and EsiLaw (or similar accounting software).
• Experience with private lending files is considered a strong asset.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when required.
• Commitment to delivering excellent client service.
