Associate Lawyer - Financial Services

Our client is a leading national firm, globally recognized for its expertise in the financial services sector. Their transactional lawyers in financial services are highly esteemed and internationally acknowledged. The firm provides a comprehensive range of legal services to both lender-side and borrower-side clients, encompassing areas such as syndicated lending, leveraged finance, asset-based loans, project and infrastructure finance, energy finance, equipment finance, real estate finance, structured finance, and securitizations. They regularly represent many of Canada’s prominent financial institutions, as well as U.S., European, and other non-Canadian financial services providers.

Currently, our client is seeking a talented mid-level Financial Services Associate to join their dynamic financial services team in their Calgary office.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• 2-5 years of private practice experience in corporate law and financial services with a reputable law firm.
• Familiarity with syndicated lending, leveraged finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, and securitizations is preferred.
• Strong analytical and drafting skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Outstanding interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams.
• Qualified to practice law in Canada.
